comments plugins

Lint the things a linter cannot: names that drifted from their implementation, comments that became false, tests that do not verify what they claim. ast-grep picks the code, one sentence is the rule, a model answers it. Includes the shipped rule packs, a cookbook for writing your own, and the calibration procedure.

Find and remove redundant comments and docstring content while retaining rationale, contracts, and documentation/tooling functions. Apply a source-based keep/delete/reduce/rewrite review; optionally consult Jev on redundancy and whether a proposed edit loses useful information. Reuses the configurable general Jev helper and skips it without helper or credentials. Use when cleaning up AI-slop comments, auditing a diff, reducing mixed docstrings, or checking a comment rewrite.

Code tidying and comment hygiene. tidy hunts a rotated lane for Beck-style tidyings and ships one PR. batch-simplify sweeps a branch, time window, or repo in dependency-ordered waves. dissolve-comments deletes zero-information comments and moves the rest into names (safe, aggressive, strip modes). audit-comment-residue flags history, plan, conversational, and ticket residue. audit-dead-code finds dead code with knip, vulture, gopls, and grep. setup scaffolds tidy lanes.

Comment discipline for code the agent writes: every comment adds information the code does not and describes the current state only.

by SidCorp-co

Declared-edge layer for code: cm: annotations carrying the couplings LSP cannot derive (cross-language and cross-process contracts, parallel rules, flows, guards), verified in CI and auto-injected into the agent's context before it edits the file they are on.

Lint edited JavaScript and TypeScript files for maintainable comments and god-file limits with the project's local ESLint installation.

by David Kim

One comment checker for every repo and every point in the harness: a change must not add comment lines on net, and must not add file:line citations or PR/issue/ticket history in comments. CLI for CI and merge gates, plus write-time feedback after each edit.

Agent skills, cast as spells: multi-reviewer code review, PR feedback resolution without comment noise, sustained PR monitoring and repair, replies that read like you typed them, comment removal, one question repo setup for GitHub, Linear, or Jira with a settings skill to change any of it, maps of decision tickets, filing build tickets from a plan, building a ready ticket, opening a pull request with visual evidence, inbox triage, a router that reads the board and names the next skill and ticket, a roadmap of milestones whose status is derived from the maps and build efforts that serve them, merge conflict resolution, and blast radius proofs, and whole-frontend audits of design system drift, interaction states, accessibility, and component interfaces with an HTML report.

by mdloop

Closes both halves of the mdloop review loop for a repo's markdown specs, PRDs, plans and ADRs. The mdloop-sync skill (plus an opt-in Stop hook and a link command) pushes artifacts into mdloop with a change note a human reviewer can actually read; the mdloop-review skill pulls the resulting feedback back over the mdloop MCP tools — comments, suggested edits, sign-off — and turns it into a revision.

by libf-de

Flags overly verbose comments / JSDoc-TSDoc in TS/JS files using a configurable comment-to-subject length ratio, plus opt-in structural checks, and pushes back to Claude to fix them.
