branching plugins

by claude-code-templates

A Neon database branch for each Claude Code session: created from your default (or chosen) branch when the session starts, handed to every command Claude runs as DATABASE_URL, and set to expire on its own (or deleted when the session ends). Claude can migrate, seed and break the branch without touching production data. /neon shows it, keeps it or deletes it. Needs a Neon API key.

by MemForks

On-chain, branch-aware memory DAG for Codex. MemForks anchors decisions to Sui and proposes cross-branch merges — memory storage is handled by the MemWal MCP server.

by Databricks

Consort: a Spec-First Branched-Database TDD agent framework for building transactional applications on Lakebase (Databricks' serverless Postgres/OLTP database, not the Delta Lakehouse). A deterministic orchestrator drives role agents through a spec-first design lane and a test-driven build lane whose every cycle runs against a live copy-on-write branch of a real Postgres database, with human-in-the-loop gates that fail closed. For application backends on Postgres, not ETL or analytics. Run /consort:start to launch the workflow.

Give each attempt its own real SQLite database: fork before risky work, checkpoint when tests pass, roll back when they fail, promote the winner. Requires the offshoot binary on PATH.
