ui-craft

v0.6.7

Consolidated UI engineering team plugin: design, review, improvement and performance optimization for any UI surface (web, iOS, Android, desktop), with deep TypeScript/React/Tailwind v4 coverage plus Apple and Android review overlays. Ten specialists (architect, visual reviewer, anti-slop auditor, accessibility, motion, responsive, perf engineer, TypeScript engineer, verifier, team lead), each dispatched on the model the session chooses. Four user-invoked skills: design-ui (new UI from scratch), review-ui (adaptive specialist review with delta reporting against a review ledger), improve-ui (full team pass plus prioritized fix plan), optimize-ui (Core Web Vitals audit). Backed by a fully self-contained reference library: 60 files across 12 domains covering the substance floor (what a surface must have, measured), copy placement and volume, app shells and content layout, fluid and intrinsic sizing, breakpoints versus container queries, zoom and adaptive postures, task flows and journeys, forms and error recovery, navigation and information architecture, states and feedback, WCAG 2.2, OKLCH and APCA color, fluid typography, motion, Tailwind v4, shadcn, component and state architecture, Core Web Vitals, TypeScript 6/7 typing with the TS7 type gate, chart palettes, density and economy, and a 150-plus-tell anti-AI catalogue. Produces severity-tagged findings (CRITICAL/HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW/TASTE) with evidence citations, confidence classes and concrete remediation, against one canonical finding template. Ships a labeled regression corpus (40 fixtures, thirteen of them clean controls) with a recall- and precision-gated scoring harness, a deterministic tell scanner with its own corpus selftest, a label contract against the catalogue, a dogfood gate and a reference-integrity check, a CI gate producing GREEN/YELLOW/RED verdict artifacts with a 38-case selftest, and a review ledger for run-over-run delta reports. Read-only by default; the orchestrator applies findings only on explicit user approval.

Included Skills3

improve-uiskills/improve-ui/SKILL.md

Use this skill when the user wants the full UI treatment: a comprehensive multi-specialist pass covering visual + usability/flow + accessibility + responsive + motion + performance + type safety + anti-AI aesthetics in one review, plus (for improvement asks) a prioritized fix plan. Triggers: "improve this UI", "make this UI better", "make this god tier", "polish these components", "refactor the UI", "level up the design", "make this look like a human team built it", "full UI pass", "comprehensive UI review", "thorough UI audit", "improve the whole interface". Dispatches the ui-craft:ui-team-lead orchestrator, which coordinates every applicable specialist in parallel plus a dedicated verifier, deduplicates findings, and produces a unified per-dimension-verdict report ordered by impact. This is the heavy-hitter, and the only skill that writes the CI verdict artifact.

optimize-uiskills/optimize-ui/SKILL.md

Use this skill when the user asks to optimize UI performance: Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), bundle size, rendering performance, runtime smoothness, font loading, image optimization, or framework-specific patterns (React compiler, RSC, Suspense, hydration; SwiftUI/Compose re-render stability). Triggers: "optimize my UI", "make the page faster", "fix LCP", "reduce bundle size", "optimize for Core Web Vitals", "UI performance audit", "speed up the page", "reduce CLS", "fix INP", "the UI feels janky", "dropped frames". Dispatches the ui-craft:ui-perf-engineer agent, which measures first (Lighthouse / tsc / bundle analysis if available), then produces severity-tagged findings with estimated metric impact and concrete code fixes.

review-uiskills/review-ui/SKILL.md

Use this skill when the user asks to review any UI for quality: visual defects, alignment, spacing, typography, color, responsiveness, motion, accessibility, task flow, and AI-generated aesthetic tells. Works across web, iOS, Android, desktop, live URLs, and screenshots. Triggers: "review this UI", "check the UI quality", "review my screen", "is this UI good quality", "check alignment", "review the design", "audit this interface", "does this screen look right", "does this look AI-generated?", "is this accessible?", "can a user actually finish this flow?", "find UI problems", "review-ui". Standard mode dispatches 3-5 specialists chosen by scope and platform, then merges findings with inline verifier rules. For maximum coverage (all 7 dimensions + verifier + CI artifact), use improve-ui.
