Cross-session ledger discipline for work that outlives the session. Bundles the progress-self-monitoring skill (the 'what': one file in the project, .agent/progress.md, that holds what the next session cannot recover from the code - the parts still blocked or returned with their observed reason, and the next action - written by the agent and re-opened before substantive work) with per-host hooks (the 'when') that announce the ledger's open-item count and age when a session opens or continues after a compaction, and notice a turn that edited files and left a ledger with open items untouched. Cross-session ledger discipline for work that outlives the session. A session boundary - a new chat, a resume that did not resume, a compaction - drops what the agent was holding: which parts are still blocked or returned and why, and what the next action was. The next session then re-does finished work, reopens a returned path, or declares done on a part nobody closed. This skill anchors that residue to one file in the project, .agent/progress.md, written by the agent and re-opened before substantive work. Triggers - new session, resume, pick up where we left off, continue, where were we, what was I doing, previous session, last time, context lost, after compaction, unfinished work, leftover, still blocked, returned to the owner, next session, progress ledger, .agent/progress.md.

The weekly silent-standup report for one repository, written from evidence. /bymax-report:standup collects what shipped in a period (pull requests via gh, commits via git) and what was asked (what a person typed into Claude Code or Codex sessions on that repository, worktree sessions included, pasted third-party requests included), then writes the two sections the team reads: a PROGRESS list of the asks as outcome sentences, undelivered ones marked in progress, and UPDATES grouped by product area saying what changed and what it replaced. No hashes, PR numbers or file names reach the report; an evidence block under it maps every line back to its PR, commit and request for the author. Plain text printed to paste, no Markdown, no file left on disk, English by default; --author keeps one git author. Depends on git; gh is used when present and its absence is reported, never hidden.
