merge-bar

v0.1.0

The pull-request lifecycle against a merge bar fixed when the PR opens. Open a PR whose body carries six fields (Claim, Scope, Known limits, Merge bar, Evidence, Closes); work it by sorting every reviewer finding as blocking or non-blocking against that bar, one push per round, with a stop at round 3 when the fixes are generating the findings, and non-blocking findings answered in the thread or recorded as known limits in the paired AI workspace's tech-debt ledger instead of filed as issues; and teach a repository's reviewers the bar through an AGENTS.md Code Review Rules section and, on public repositories, a .coderabbit.yaml. Three prose skills, three slash commands, no lib, no state.

Open a pull request whose body carries six fields — Claim, Scope, Known limits, Merge bar, Evidence, Closes — so every reviewer and the session that works the PR judge it against a finish line fixed before review starts. Use when opening, raising or creating a PR, writing a PR description, or when another skill hands you a finished branch to open. Proposes a split instead of opening when the honest claim or scope is too wide.

setting-up-reviewersskills/setting-up-reviewers/SKILL.md

One-time setup that teaches a repository's automated reviewers the merge bar — a Code Review Rules section in AGENTS.md for Codex and any agent reviewer, and a .coderabbit.yaml when the repository is public — landed as a pull request. Use when asked to set up, configure or tune code reviewers, Codex review rules, CodeRabbit, or AGENTS.md review guidance for a repository.

working-a-prskills/working-a-pr/SKILL.md

Drive an open pull request to a mergeable state against the merge bar its own body declares — fetch every reviewer finding, sort each as blocking or non-blocking by that bar, fix only the blocking ones in one push per round, answer the rest in the thread or record them as known limits, stop at round 3 or later when the fixes are generating the findings, and merge only on the operator's explicit ack. Use when working, driving, babysitting or landing a PR, addressing review comments, or when handed a PR number to get merged.
