Apply to jobs by filling the application in the user's browser with the job-apply tools — LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Eightfold, SuccessFactors, Oracle and any company careers site. Use whenever the user shares one or more job links and wants to apply ("apply to these", "submit my application to…"), or asks to work through jobs saved in their tracker.
Open the Job Desk, a page on the user's computer that lists recommended openings from every employer in the plugin's list, ranked against their profile, and applies to the ones they pick with one button. Use when the user wants a dashboard or interface for their job search, wants to see recommended jobs, wants to apply to several jobs at once, or asks for one-click applying.
Find job openings that match the user's profile, using Indeed (through the Indeed connector) and employers' own career sites (Arizona semiconductor companies such as ASML, Lam Research, Applied Materials, KLA, Intel, TSMC and Microchip by default, or large Phoenix-area employers in health care, finance, government and more on the Phoenix list), then save the good matches to the job-apply tracker. Use when the user asks to find, search for or line up jobs, e.g. "find field service engineer jobs in Phoenix", "find HR or accounting jobs in Phoenix" or "what's open at Lam and ASML?".
Prepare the user for an interview for a job in the job-apply tracker. Covers research on the company and role, the technical and behavioral questions likely for the role (semiconductor equipment, field service and technician jobs; HR and recruiting; finance and accounting; or any other), STAR stories built from the user's real experience, questions to ask, and logistics. Use when the user mentions an interview, phone screen, assessment or onsite, or when track-responses records an interview request.
Set up the job-apply plugin, which means building the applicant profile from the user's resume, answering the work-authorization, preference and EEO questions, and opening the browser so the user can sign in to LinkedIn and Indeed. Use on first use, when setup_status reports a missing profile field, when something about the plugin seems broken (its doctor tool checks the computer's setup), or when the user wants to change their saved answers or submit settings.
Check the user's email for replies to their job applications (confirmations, assessments, interview requests, offers, rejections) and update the job-apply tracker. Use when the user asks "did I hear back?", "update my applications", "check my email for interviews", or wants a regular status check. Needs the Gmail connector.
