Creates a new git branch and its directory for temporary files plans/<branch-name>/ (slashes become dashes), following the branch naming of engineering-standards. Use when someone starts work on an issue or change and says /branch <type>/<name>, "new branch", "start a branch for this", "Branch anlegen".
Standards for how code gets into a repo: small reviewable pull requests (size check, split), CLAUDE.md structure, where plans and docs live (tracker, docs/, disposable plans/), agent sandboxes (sbx, native sandbox, dev containers) and unattended agent runs (checks, Stop hook, /goal, headless). Use when opening, splitting or reviewing a PR, writing a CLAUDE.md, setting up a repo or sandbox, letting an agent run on its own, or asking how the team builds software. Not for cutting a PRD into issues (prd2issues).
Moves Claude Code work into a Docker Sandbox (sbx): by default on the current checkout and branch, or on a new worktree branch or a private clone; the sandbox with the repo's kit and git push over SSH, checks it and prints the line to attach; can carry the user's Claude Code harness; tears it down after the merge. Invoke as /sbx, /sbx <type>/<name>, /sbx --clone, /sbx harness, /sbx --done <name>. Background: engineering-standards references/agent-sandbox.md.
