Included Skills7
Add one or more email addresses to a Fastmail account as selectable "From" (sending) identities by triggering the add-from-address GitHub Actions workflow in the Adam-S-Daniel/fastmail-actions repo (which does the JMAP work with the FASTMAIL_API_TOKEN repo secret). Trigger when the user wants to "add a from address", "add a sending identity", "let me send as X", "add an alias I can send from", or "register a new From address in Fastmail". Supports a dry-run (whatif) preview. For discovering which received alias addresses are worth adding, use the add-received-from-addresses skill instead.
Discover which of a Fastmail account's own alias addresses are worth being able to send from, and add them as "From" identities, by triggering the add-received-from-addresses GitHub Actions workflow in the Adam-S-Daniel/fastmail-actions repo (which does the JMAP work with the FASTMAIL_API_TOKEN repo secret). It scans every message for distinct X-Delivered-To addresses, keeps only those you actually correspond through, drops any that are already identities, and adds the rest. Trigger when the user wants to "add From addresses for aliases I actually use", "find alias addresses worth sending from", or "set up identities for the addresses that receive my mail". Supports a dry-run (whatif) preview. To add a specific known address, use the add-from-address skill instead.
Compare pairs of PDFs (name.pdf + name<suffix>.pdf in the same folder) to determine whether they would produce identical printouts and whether their embedded text differs — e.g. to safely delete redundant "-signed" or "-needsocr" duplicates. Recursively finds every pair under a directory, rasterizes pages and compares hashes, and diffs extracted text. Triggers: "compare pdf pairs", "find duplicate pdfs", "are these pdfs identical", "which suffixed pdfs can I delete", "dedupe scanned pdfs".
Automate Fastmail email workflows via a local browser session. Use this skill ONLY when running on Adam's computer with access to his browser (e.g. via Claude desktop / Cowork mode with Claude in Chrome). Do NOT use in headless environments such as the Claude Code CLI, CI pipelines, or any context without an interactive browser available. Trigger when the user wants to: search Fastmail for emails by sender, subject, or keyword; read email threads or attachment contents (including spreadsheets); compose and send new messages; or draft and send replies. Trigger on any mention of "Fastmail", "check my email", "search my inbox", "reply to", or similar email-management requests.
Batch-OCR scanned PDFs flagged as needing OCR, then visually review results with a WPF side-by-side comparison tool.
Audit PDF files to determine whether OCR (optical character recognition) is needed to make them fully text-searchable. Use this skill whenever the user asks about PDF searchability, OCR status, whether PDFs have embedded text, which PDFs are scans, or wants to audit/inventory a folder of PDFs for text extraction readiness. Also triggers for: "which PDFs need OCR", "are my PDFs searchable", "do these PDFs have text layers", "audit my PDFs", "find scanned PDFs".
Rename already-searchable PDFs in a specified folder to descriptive, date-prefixed names, proposing each name from the PDF's own content and prompting for per-file confirmation or edit before applying. Use after running `ocr-pdfs` to clean up scanner-output filenames like "Scan from 2024-03-15.pdf", "QuickScan_001.pdf", or "Document(47).pdf" — or for any folder of PDFs that already have text layers but unhelpful filenames. Triggers: "rename my pdfs", "clean up pdf filenames", "rename searchable pdfs", "give my pdfs descriptive names", "rename scanned pdfs", "tidy pdf names".
